Giving Tuesday (December 2nd)
Join millions of people participating in Giving Tuesday, the global generosity movement, on the first Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving. This is your chance to make a difference by contributing a monetary donation to our $5,000 goal or by volunteering your time for our 2026 events before the year ends!
Where Your Contributions Will Go:
CRP serves 60,000 clients annually across Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, and Yuba counties by providing a range of services to low-income families including energy bill assistance, weatherization programs, and Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) health services. With the support of our Board of Directors, local leaders, partners, and dedicated staff, we strive to grow our community impact to fill in the gaps in our community through our:
- Community Lactation Assistance Program to help families with evidence-based education and support to pregnant and new parents to meet their breastfeeding goals
- Annual Literacy is Key Event which will provide free bilingual books and local community resources to neighborhoods in Sacramento.
- Workforce Development Program to continue providing and building our free job training to under-or unemployed Sacramento residents in their transition to a green career through transportation stipends, work boots, equipment and hand toolkits.
