Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program


Community Resource Project offers a lead-based paint hazard control program to homes that qualify in Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba County. This program targets homes Pre-1978 homes with children under the age of six residing in the home. Homes containing lead that remain untreated may result in lead poisoning. Children under the age of six are found to be the most vulnerable to lead poisoning.

The objective of the lead program is to remove the hazards of lead paint through the process of abatement and containment. The Community Resource Project lead team works with qualified clients through the whole process, from the initial assessment to the final clearance of the home.

Our office phone lines are open for clients Monday through Friday from the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A weatherization specialist will work with you to determine if you are eligible for the program and assist in filling out an application.
