CRP's WIC Receives Phyllis Bramson Award

Congratulations to our CRP team along with Sacramento County team for being recognized at the California WIC Association (CWA) virtual conference for our work on sustainability efforts and identifying creative ways to provide and sustain services in the community with decreased funding projections.

Our CRP WIC staff has won the Phyllis Bramson Award. Phyllis was a former CDPH State WIC Director who was a pioneer in the areas of maternal and child health 'back in the day' and helped get California WIC on the map as a leader in advocacy, innovation and perseverance to protect vulnerable populations and create a safety net of programs. Great work Maureen Clark, Samantha Slaughter, Jennifer Pettus & Jeannette Newman-Velez. Your hard work is appreciated.
