COVID-19 and CRP

Community Resource Project is here to service our community during this unprecedented time, as the nation responds to the Coronavirus pandemic. We will be active partners with our State, Federal, and Local governments and nonprofit partners to work collectively to help support each other across our region.

Please use Community Resource Project as a resource for information from both state and local officials. We will provide you with the most current information as soon as we receive it and will use our social media platforms and email systems to inform you with the latest news. Our website at CommunityResourceProject.org will host updated information as well.

During this time, our offices will remain open with only selected staff working remotely. We have cancelled and/or postponed any events and most meetings are taking place via remote access or conference calls. We do this to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and our community at large.

For our WIC Clients:

* We are still providing services, just changing our methods during these times to protect our staff and clients that we serve
* We are here for our community during this time of uncertainty. Please know that we will send updates as soon as we know more about the changes that are being implemented as they occur.
* For those dependent on our WIC services, you can still call in, mail, fax, and email questions and forms to crpwicappt@communityresourceproject.org or 916-326-5830
* To prevent exposure of COVID-19, CRP WIC will be providing all services by phone until further notice.
* If you already have an appointment, you can expect a phone call from WIC.
* If you do not have an appointment, please contact us at 916-326-5830 or email at crpwicappt@communityresourceproject.org
* Call our agency to ensure that your WIC Card benefits have properly been uploaded.
* We are still gathering information about food accessibility and will update as more information becomes available.

For our Utility Assistance/Weatherization Clients:

* We are still providing services on a case by case basis to protect our staff and clients.
* Utility Companies have been informed to suspend power shutoffs for non-payment for any residential customers at this time.
* If you would like to submit a HEAP application to assist you with your gas or electricity bill, please forward your inquiry via mail, fax or our drop-box located at the HEAP office, 250 Harris Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95838.

Our utility assistance and weatherization application is still available online at www.communityresourceproject.org/apply

We are carefully monitoring the situation and will inform as we receive notice. For more information or updates, please visit our website at www.CommunityResourceProject.org.
